Ahead of the second round matches of the Nigeria National League (NNL) group D, Adamawa United FC has commenced fitness training.
Team Manager of the club, Barrister Ijamuel Emmanuel Tsamdu, in a release, said the fitness training is skeletal because the club is mourning the demise of the wife of the club chairman, Mrs Glory Bulus Daniel, who died on Tuesday this week.
While asking the players and coaches to observe this moment of pain, he urged them to reflect on the performance of the team in the first round of the NNL 2025/2026 season.
“I urge all of us to reflect on our performances, where we did well and where we got it wrong, and see how we can get it better”.
Barrister Tsamdu thanked the management, backroom staff, and the supporters for their commitment to seeing the clubs succeed despite challenges.
He also announced that as a result of the death of the wife of the chairman of the Club, Hon Bulus Daniel, the training program for the club will resume on the 12th of January, 2026.
Adamawa United FC will be taking on Yobe Desert Stars in Damaturu on the 31st January. It could be recalled that Adamawa United defeated Yobe Desert Stars 2-1 in the last of the first round in Numan.
