The Secretary of Adamawa United Football Club, Dr Yusuf Chidama, says his team will pick the only ticket from group D of the Nigeria National League (NNL), the second tier of the Nigeria Football League.
Dr. Chidama disclosed this in an interview with a journalist in Yola ahead of the second round matches of the league.
“We have a very good and disciplined team, the coaches, the players, and the management are doing their best to ensure a better outing this round”
“Like every other team, we want to win our matches, we don’t believe that we are playing home or away, all we are doing is enjoying our games.
“Though officiating is a big problem, I think it will be better this time around because some of the officiating officials have been axed for their wrong officiating”. He said.
Adamawa United will be taking on Yobe Desert Stars in Damaturu this weekend. A win for the team will brighten their chances.
The team is placed 4th on the log with very small margins between the first four teams in the group.
