A delegation of Vice Chairpersons from the 21 Local Government Areas of Adamawa State today paid a congratulatory visit to the Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Alhaji Ibrahim Mijinyawa Yayaji, at his residence in Yola.
The visit was in celebration of Hon. Yayaji’s recent appointment as Marafa Adamawa and Member of the Adamawa Emirate Council.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Serah Samuel, Vice Chairperson of Yola-North Local Government Area, praised the Commissioner’s dedication to grassroots development and his loyalty to traditional and democratic institutions.
She described the appointment as a well-deserved honour that reflects Hon. Yayaji’s consistent service to the state and its people.
In response, Alhaji Ibrahim Mijinyawa Yayaji expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Vice Chairpersons for their support and solidarity, promising to continue working tirelessly for the development of local government administration and the state at large.
