Senator Amos Yohanna, representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, has sent a goodwill message to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, hailing the Governor’s six years in office as a time of rare, transformational leadership.

In his message released to mark the 6th anniversary of Governor Fintiri’s administration in 2025, Senator Yohanna congratulated the Governor, his wife Hajiya Lami Umaru Fintiri, and the people of Adamawa State for witnessing what he described as “an era of solid progress, accountability, and people-focused governance.”

“On behalf of my family, office, and the good people of Adamawa North, I extend my warmest congratulations to our reliable, visionary, and justice-driven leader, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri,” the Senator stated.

Senator Yohanna described it as a great privilege to serve under the Fintiri-led administration, which he said has remained focused on delivering development rooted in equity and measurable progress.

He said Adamawa citizens are fortunate to be governed by a leader who not only understands the needs of the people but also addresses them with urgency and sincerity.

“Governor Fintiri came into office prepared. The results speak loudly. From infrastructure to education, health to agriculture, and youth empowerment to security, his administration has left no area untouched,” he said.

Yohanna noted that the level of work done in six years is not only impressive but historic. According to him, never before has Adamawa seen such widespread, balanced development across all key sectors.

“This is the first time in our state’s history that all sectors—ministries, parastatals, and agencies—are moving forward at the same time. It’s no longer about promises. The projects are there. The results are visible. The changes are real,” he declared.

He said Fintiri’s leadership style has been marked by selflessness and a strong belief in public service. The Senator emphasized that the Governor’s approach to governance has always been about results, not rhetoric.

“Infrastructure development under this administration has been unmatched. It is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf. You don’t need a political eye to see what has been done in the last six years,” Yohanna said.

He highlighted major investments in education, health care, agriculture, and human capital development, calling them the cornerstones of the Governor’s long-lasting legacy.

“Fintiri’s passion for education has changed the lives of thousands of children and youth. His reforms have improved school facilities, learning conditions, and access to quality education in both rural and urban areas,” Yohanna said.

In the health sector, the Senator noted that hospitals and primary healthcare centers have been upgraded and equipped to serve the people better. In agriculture, he said the Governor has empowered farmers with modern tools and policies that boost food security.

“The Governor’s efforts to develop the minds and hands of our people are commendable. He understands that building roads alone is not enough—you must also build people. And that’s what he has done,” he added.

Senator Yohanna gave the Governor a new title—Pilot of Sustainable Development—saying the work of the past six years is strong enough to guide the state for decades to come.

He called on all citizens of Adamawa to support Governor Fintiri, urging them to rise above political divisions, tribalism, and bitterness.

“Dear people of Adamawa, we have a leader who means well. It is our duty to support him. Good leaders are hard to find. We must come together, drop every form of hate, and work hand in hand to take our state to greater heights,” he advised.

Senator Yohanna ended the message by offering personal congratulations to Governor Fintiri, the people of Adamawa, and the entire country.

“Congratulations, Your Excellency, the People’s Governor. Congratulations to our dear state. And congratulations to Nigeria for producing one of the finest leaders in this generation.”
