The Executive Chairman of the Adamawa State Universal Basic Education Board (ADSUBEB), Dr. Murtala Umar Babayi, has welcomed a delegation from the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to the board’s headquarters in Yola.

The delegation, led by the Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner, Mr. Okoro J. Ulu, emphasized that the meeting reinforces ADSUBEB’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance within the education sector.

He outlined the ICPC’s mandate, as established by the Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Act of 2000, to investigate and prosecute corruption cases, while also educating the public on its dangers.
