As the 2023 general elections are around the corner, Muslims have again been urged to go and collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
An Islamic Scholar in Mutum Biyu, headquarters of the Gassol local government area of Taraba State, Ustaz Sani Yusuf Darul-Hadith made the plea while speaking with our reporter.
He said it has become compulsory for Muslims to ensure that they collect their Permanent Voter Cards and vote for candidates that they are optimistic will be good leaders.
“We should also continue praying for the Almighty ALLAH to give us good leaders who have us at heart, those that love us not those that we love,” he added.
Ustaz Sani Yusuf also explained that it is a great mistake for any Muslim to refuse to go and collect his PVC or take part in any election.
The Islamic Scholar advised the youth not to allow themselves to be used as political thugs, as well as desist from drug abuse.
Ustaz Sani Yusuf Darul-Hadith, however, prayed to Almighty ALLAH for permanent peaceful coexistence in Mutum Biyu, Taraba State, Nigeria, and the world over.
