The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), critical stakeholders in Yola-North Local Government Area, on Thursday held a crucial meeting at Madugu Rockview, Yola, chaired by the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Hon. Ibrahim Mijinyawa Yayaji.
The purpose of the meeting was to further affirm their unwavering support for the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, and the PDP as a party.
Hon. Yayaji called on the stakeholders to remain united, committed, and proactive in strengthening the party’s presence in Yola North.
He emphasized the importance of loyalty and collaboration in ensuring the continued success of the PDP in the area.
The Commissioner called on party leaders from the local government level down to the ward level to rise and take a stand to ensure that the PDP gains more acceptance and respect throughout Yola-North Local Government Area.
The Chairman of the PDP Elders Forum, Alhaji Kawu Wandala expressed gratitude to the Commissioner for the way he has been supporting His Excellency the Governor in driving the political movement in Jimeta and Adamawa State as a whole.
The stakeholders also urged one another to intensify their efforts and ensure that the PDP delivers effectively in Yola North.
They emphasized the need for the party to reward the people of Yola North with appointments and opportunities so they can contribute meaningfully to governance and the well-being of the community.
