Renowned two-time African badminton champion from Taraba State, Jinkam Bulus Ifraimu has added yet another accolade to his growing list of achievements by securing second place at the Professor Zulum National Badminton Championship held in Maiduguri, Borno State.
Following the intense competition, Ifraimu expressed deep appreciation to Governor Agbu Kefas for his unwavering support in creating an enabling environment for athletes in Taraba State.
He emphasized that the governor’s dedication to sports development has played a significant role in his success, and lauded the organizers of the championship for their professionalism and smooth execution of the event.
He particularly praised Professor Babagana Zulum who is the Governor of Borno State, acknowledging his commitment to sports and youth empowerment in Nigeria.
“This competition was tough, but I gave my best. I’m grateful to my supporters and to Governor Agbu Kefas, whose leadership and encouragement have been instrumental in my career.
Professor Zulum’s passion for sports is truly commendable, and I appreciate the opportunity to compete at such a high level,” Ifraimu stated.
Having represented Taraba State in numerous national and international competitions, Ifraimu has consistently delivered outstanding performances, winning medals and making his state proud. His latest achievement further solidifies his reputation as one of Nigeria’s top badminton players.
