A veteran journalist in Taraba state, Abubakar Sadiq Moyoyo, has given the Wakilin Higgi Kamwe in Taraba state Jacob Tizhe Bulama a pat on the back for his ability to bring together all the Michika people residing in the state to speak with one voice.
Moyoyo in a chat with our correspondent in jalingo, observed that since the turbaning of Bulama, a retired police DSP as the Wakilin Higgi Kamwe by the Galadiman Muri and the District Head of Jalingo, Alhaji Lamido Tukur Abba Tukur sometimes in 2023, the traditional ruler brought all the Michika speaking extraction to promote peace in the state.
He opined that even the recent appointment and subsequent turbaning of some notable Higgi Kamwe people as his advisors is a step in the right direction.
Moyoyo, who is a retired Director of News, congratulated the seven personalities turbaned on different positions and urged them to justify their appointments as, according to him, traditional institutions are unique and the remaining area retains its adoration by its subject.
Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Moyoyo, who is also the Dallatun Bantaje, challenged other ethnic groups to emulate Michika Kamue people to move the state forward.
The Dallatun Bantaje equally congratulated the former chairman of the TSBS listener’s club, Daniel Zira Dan Michika, who is among the turbaned title holders as the Wazirin Michika and charged him not to betray the trust reposed in him by the royal father.
Additionally, the veteran journalist, Moyoyo commended Governor Agbu Kefas for providing a level playing ground for traditional institutions to thrive and appealed to the governor to maintain the tempo.
