The cases of Shilla boys attacking residents unabated is now a thing of the past, with just few cases being recorded, more interesting is the implementation of a salary structure for vigilante groups because of their significance in checking criminal activities, banditry and insurgency.
His political will to stem the tide of insecurity has brought criminal activities to its lowest ebb.
The sordid experience of inhabitants owing to criminal activities is now becoming a forgotten issue.

Even as a civilian, he led security chiefs to an ongoing communal clash at Tingno and Tito communities in Lamurde LGA, and repelled the attack in the process.
The first time in the history of Adamawa State, or probably the Northeastern part of the country or Nigeria as a whole.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has proven time without number that he is after the welfare and security of lives and properties of the citizens of Adamawa State.
His timely response to gunmen attacks is a clear testament that he values the lives and properties of the people.

The prolonged violent clashes between farmers and cattle herders. At the core of the conflicts are disputes over access and rights to land and water resources and rapid desertification which has changed the grazing patterns of cattle.
You don’t need a soothsayer to tell you that Governor Fintiri is concerned with the security of lives and properties of the people.
He hs made record whereby first time in years that gunmen and suspects of communal clashes are apprehended barely 24 hours after an attack, as 30 suspects were arrested over the communal clash in Tigno, Lamurde local Government Area of the state.
Another 32 suspects were arrested and charged accordingly for alleged involvement in the communal clash that erupted between Lunguda and Waja communities in Guyuk local government area of Adamawa.
