The Commissioner of Police, Taraba State Command, David Iloyonomon has pledged the unwavering support and assistance of his officers and men to the NYSC scheme in the state.
He disclosed this when the new Coordinator of the NYSC in the State, Mr. Ella Aji Williams paid him a courtesy visit in his office recently.
Speaking during the visit, the CP said the relationship between the scheme and the police is long-standing and has waxed strongly in the interest of the Corps Members, the state government, and the generality of the good people of the state.
He also went down memory lane to recount when, how, and where he did his National Service during his time as well as the friends he made through the scheme, stating that it was an awesome experience he would not forget so easily in life.
Earlier, the state NYSC Co-ordinator, Mr. Ella Aji Williams commended the command for their continuous support and assistance to the scheme.
He equally solicited further collaborations in the interest of the Corps Members serving in the state.
The two chiefs exchanged contacts and pledged to work together for the good of Taraba state and the Nation.
