Taraba Commissioner For Environment, Hon. Barde Calls On Mumuye Students At TSU To Promote Unity, Support Gov Kefa’s Administration

The Taraba State Commissioner for Environment and Climate Change, Hon. Aishat Abdulazeez Barde, stated that the visionary leadership of Governor Agbu Kefas relies on the active participation of citizens.

Mrs Barde, who is also recognized as the Zinariyar Mumuyawa, made this statement while addressing newly admitted students of the National Association of Mumuye Students (NAMS) at the Taraba State University in Jalingo.

Speaking through her representative, Remission Lazare Alison, Hon. Barde encouraged the students to promote unity in all their endeavours.

She emphasized that “unity is a powerful tool for preserving our cultural heritage, fostering a shared sense of pride, and enhancing our representation.” 

The Zinariyar Mumuyawa pointed out that unity strengthens social support structures, nurtures the emergence of future leaders, and serves as a bulwark against internal divisions while inspiring the entire Mumuye Nation and students across the state.

Barde stressed that this call for unity extends beyond NAMS, urging all Tarabans, regardless of tribe or religion, to come together with a shared purpose and collective action for the advancement of their beloved state.

She also encouraged Tarabans to support the current administration by rallying behind Governor Agbu Kefas.

 Hon. Aishat Barde reminded the people of the state of the importance of staying united and committed to working together for a brighter future.

A representative from NAMS expressed appreciation for Hon. Aishat Abdulazeez Barde (Zinariyar Mumuyawa) for her encouraging words. 

He also commended her good intentions toward supporting Mumuye students in their academic pursuits.
