As Adamawa State marks a significant milestone in its democratic journey, the Director General of the Debt Management Agency, Professor Ibrahim Danjuma, together with the staff and management of the agency, extended heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, on the occasion of his sixth anniversary as Executive Governor of the state.

Reflecting on the past six years, the Director General described Governor Fintiri’s leadership as a shining example of purposeful and people-centered governance.

According to Prof. Danjuma, the administration had recorded unprecedented progress and growth across critical sectors of the state, owing to the governor’s unwavering commitment to good governance, financial transparency, and inclusive development.

He highlighted several key achievements under Governor Fintiri’s administration. These included massive investments in infrastructure such as roads, bridges, and public utilities that cut across both urban and rural communities.

In the education sector, he said the government had initiated a transformation marked by the renovation and equipping of public schools, recruitment of qualified teachers, and provision of learning materials.

The healthcare sector, the Director General noted, had also undergone significant reforms, including the rehabilitation of hospitals and primary healthcare centers, improved access to affordable care, and the deployment of skilled health professionals.

“Equally noteworthy was the empowerment of youth and women through targeted skill acquisition programs and entrepreneurship support, designed to foster self-reliance and economic participation,” he said.

One of the hallmarks of the Fintiri administration, according to Prof. Danjuma, had been the prompt and consistent payment of salaries, pensions, and gratuities—a policy that had restored dignity and hope to the civil service.

He also praised the governor’s prudent financial management, which ensured debt sustainability, transparency in public expenditure, and growing public confidence in the administration.

Speaking on behalf of the Debt Management Agency, Prof. Danjuma expressed pride in being part of a government that places a high premium on responsible debt management and sustainable economic development.

He acknowledged that Governor Fintiri’s visionary leadership had helped build a strong financial foundation for future generations.

As the state celebrated this sixth anniversary, the Director General lauded the governor’s ability to inspire trust, unity, and hope across communities.

He commended Governor Fintiri’s resilience, compassion, and clarity of purpose, which he said had become a beacon of inspiration for the people of Adamawa.

Prof. Danjuma concluded with a prayer for greater accomplishments, divine wisdom, and continued strength for the governor as he leads the state forward.

He described Governor Fintiri’s legacy as one being etched in the smiles of the people and in the visible transformation of Adamawa State.
