A renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, praised Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State for his “Moving Forward Agenda,” aimed at building a better Taraba.
Sheikh Bauchi made his commendation during the Qur’anic graduation ceremony of Mu’assasa Nursery, Primary, and Secondary School, held in Jalingo.
He was represented by his son, Dr. Fatihu Dahiru, who offered prayers for Governor Kefas, acknowledging his efforts in transforming the state and promoting good governance with justice.
In his remarks, Governor Agbu Kefas expressed gratitude to Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi for establishing the school in Taraba State.
Represented by his Special Adviser on Islamic Religion Matters, Malam Husseini Isma’il, the Governor assured the Islamic cleric of his administration’s commitment to creating a brighter future for the people of the state.
Additionally, the Governor emphasized his unwavering dedication to promoting peace, unity, harmony, and tolerance among Tarabans for the development of the state.
Dr. Agbu Kefas congratulated the graduates and urged them to be ambassadors of peace, stating, “It is a proud moment to see the students achieve this milestone.”
Moreover, Malam Husseini Isma’il urged Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi and the entire Muslim Ummah to include Governor Agbu Kefas and his cabinet members in their prayers for the success of the Moving Forward Agenda.
