The senator representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Aminu Iya Abbas, has been invited to serve as a panelist at the 3rd Professor Uche Uwaleke Capital Market Colloquium, scheduled to take place on February 23, 2026, at the Yar’adua Center in Abuja.

The colloquium’s theme is “Future Proofing Africa-wide Economic Integration: Infrastructure, Innovation and Capital Markets”

This event brings together experts, including Senator Aminu Iya Abbas, to discuss strategies for enhancing Africa’s economic integration, focusing on infrastructure development, innovation, and capital market growth.

As Chairman of the Senate Committee on Innovation, Science, and Technology, Senator Abbas is expected to share insights on leveraging technology and innovation to drive economic progress in the country.
