Sen Abbas Launches Free Medical Outreach For 7,000 Constituents

Adamawa Central Senatorial District Senator Aminu Iya Abbas has flagged off a free medical outreach program targeting 7,000 less privileged constituents from Gombi, Girei, and Fufore local government areas.

Adamawa Central Senatorial District Senator Aminu Iya Abbas has flagged off a free medical outreach program targeting 7,000 less privileged constituents from Gombi, Girei, and Fufore local government areas.

The program, in partnership with the Centre for Management Development and Iya Abbas Foundation, focuses on treatment, preventive measures, early detection, regular check-ups, health screenings, and education on healthy practices.

A high-powered medical team led by Chief Consultant Doctor Wadinga Dauda will provide:

“Free drugs and general surgeries
Free operations for hernia, appendicitis, lipoma, hydrocele, goitre, fibroids, varian cysts, breast lumps, and eye tests
Free medical care for diabetes, hypertension, malaria, and dental problems. “

The next phase will target over 10,000 people from remaining local government areas.
