In a continued effort to enhance security across Adamawa Central Senatorial District and the state as a whole, Senator Aminu Iya Abbas has donated ten (10) operational motorcycles to local security operatives in Hong Local Government Area.
The motorcycles were presented at the palace of the Tol Huba in Hong, where Senator Abbas, represented by the Chairman of Hong Local Government Council, Hon. Inuwa Usman Waaganda, reiterated his dedication to promoting peace and security in the region. He praised the commitment of the security personnel and acknowledged their efforts in ensuring the safety of residents.
Senator Abbas also reaffirmed his resolve to meet the basic needs of his constituents and urged stronger collaboration between the community and security agencies — particularly the Police, Army, Hunters, and Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN) — in reporting suspicious movements or individuals with questionable behavior.
Speaking at the event, His Royal Majesty, the Tol Huba, Mr. Alheri Bulus Nyako, commended Senator Abbas for his consistent support and generosity, emphasizing the importance of joint efforts among security stakeholders. He noted that the motorcycles would significantly improve the morale, efficiency, and response capacity of local security operatives.
In appreciation, representatives of the beneficiary groups expressed heartfelt gratitude to Senator Abbas and pledged to utilize the motorcycles effectively in maintaining security across the area.
