The recent launched of the”IRRIGATE NIGERIA PROJECT ” in Bauchi state has come and gone but the political happenings before and after the launched has kept political gladiators talking against each other with different political group pointing accusing fingers at each other.
Nigeria’s foreign affairs Minister Yusuf Maitama Tuggae has therefore been accused of planned to Disrupt the Tinubu’s recent Project Launch as a political group described such action as anti Masses
Chairman Kaura working circle network, Hon Sulaiman Musa Mai posta while addressing Newsmen in Bauchi on the issue called on president Bola Tinubu to sack the foreign affairs Minister Yusuf Maitama Tuggar for sabotaging his projects.
The Kaura working circle network, is a political group that propagates the activities and political ideals of Governor Bala Mohammed OF Bauchi state and it described the action of the foreign affairs Minister Yusuf Maitama Tuggar as anti masses, undemocratic and act of sabotage, who attempted to disrupt “Irrigate Nigeria project” Over Feud with Governor Bala Mohammed.
It could be recalled that the national agency for science and engineering infrastructure NASANI under the Renewed hope infrastructural development fund of the Tinubu LED administration that seek to effectively utilize irrigation farming as a means of job creation, youth empowerment and food security.
The project was launched on the 1st of March, 2025 in Udubo, Gamawa local government area, the foreign affairs Minister’s home town but he was conspicuously absent.
Addressing Newsmen in Bauchi on the development, the chairman Kaura working circle network Hon Sulaiman Musa Mai posta accused Tuggar of not only refusing to attend the ceremony but tried to sabotage the event which is a brain child of his Boss president Bola Tinubu’s project.
“We at the Kaura working circle network watched with dismay the action of the foreign affairs Minister who was supposed to be at the forefront in making sure that the project became a success so as to Garner more support for president Bola Tinubu and attract development to his people, the people of Udubo, Gamawa and Bauchi state in general but instead he did all he could to disrupt the project” Mai posta added.
He commended Governor Bala Mohammed for the maturity he displayed as a nationalist during the launched of the “IRRIGATE NIGERIA PROJECT” where he hosted the executive vice chairman and Chief executive officer national agency for science and engineering infrastructure KHALIL SULEIMAN HALILU, the representative of the renewed hope infrastructural development fund Engineer Kayode among other Dignitaries from within and outside the state and the occasion was very successful.
“While commending our amiable Governor for the show of sportsmanship towards the success of the event, we call on president Bola Tinubu to immediately sack the foreign affairs Minister Yusuf Maitama Tuggar for sabotaging his projects and his inability to attract developmental projects to the people of his area and Bauchi state in general” Mai posta stressed.
He said when the foreign affairs minister, who was scheduled to represent President Bola Tinubu at the event, chose to boycott the launch. Instead of attending the main event, Tuggar hosted his own parallel program with members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in a separate location within Gamawa, while the main gathering waited for his arrival.
Mai posta Said Governor Bala Mohammed as a detribalise leader always partners the federal government, non governmental organizations and donor partners to attract development to his people and cannot denigrate the person of Mr President nor his representative.
“Of course Governor Bala Mohammed is from the opposition people’s democratic party PDP but he sleeps and wakes up with the people of Bauchi state at heart irrespective of any difference because all he needs is development. So his stakeholding posture stands him out as a leader that knows what his people needed most” Mai posta Said.
The Kaura working circle network therefore passed a vote of confidence on Governor Bala Mohammed for executing many developmental projects to the people across the twenty local government areas of Bauchi state as well as opening up the state for investors to invest in the critical sectors of the economy
