By Sani Yarima The Special Adviser to Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State on Islamic Religion Matters, Malam Husseini Isma’il, and Pastor Samuel Omajali, the Deeper Life Overseer in Taraba State, have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the relationship between the Muslim and Christian communities in the state.
They expressed this resolution during a meeting on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, held in Jalingo, the capital city.
They described the gathering as historic and a significant step toward fostering stronger ties between followers of the two major religions in the State.
The discussion focused on finding ways to promote peace, unity, and tolerance amongst the two faiths, and to continue supporting Governor Agbu Kefas’s “Moving Forward Agenda.”
Malam Isma’il and Pastor Omajali noted that their collaboration serves as a powerful example of interfaith dialogue and cooperation, demonstrating their shared commitment to the well-being of their communities.
Additionally, they praised Dr. Agbu Kefas’s leadership style, which is transforming the state and improving the livelihoods of all residents of Taraba.
Malam Husseini Isma’il and Pastor Samuel Omajali concluded the meeting by offering prayers for the progress of Taraba State, good health, and greater wisdom for Governor Kefas and his cabinet members.
