…..As Muslims Celebrate Eid-el Fitr
By Sani Yarima
An Islamic scholar in Taraba State, Khadi Abdulmumini Abubakar (Rtd), has warned grain sellers against reducing the quantity of their products to enable them to enjoy Allah’s blessings in their businesses.
He gave the warning in his Sallah message to the Muslim Ummah across the globe while speaking to journalists in Jalingo.
Khadi emphasized that Allah has provided punishment for such people, and urged businessmen and women to desist from such acts to avoid being punished by the Almighty Allah on the Day of Judgment.
He also reminded Muslims to reflect on the lessons learned during the month of Ramadan and to always fear Allah in all their dealings and worship Him alone.
Khadi Abubakar reminded Muslims that Allah (SWA) will not accept any deed that is not done for His sake, and urged them to always do good things for the sake of Allah.
He also called on the Muslim Ummah to repent and desist from sins, and to refrain from causing harm to leaders, as power comes from Allah. Instead, they should pray for them for Allah’s guidance.
Furthermore, Abubakar attributed the current hardship being experienced in the country to the evil deeds of the people and called on Nigerians to return to Allah and refrain from sins, as well as seek His mercy and forgiveness.
He reiterated that Allah does not marginalize people and that it is prohibited for a leader to discriminate against a particular group based on religion or ethnicity.
Khadi Abdulmumini Abubakar also emphasized that Allah gives power to whom He likes at the time He likes and that this power is temporary, and everyone will be accountable for their deeds in the hereafter.
Finally, he called on well-to-do Nigerians to assist the less privileged in society to help reduce the current hardship.
