In an unprecedented move to alleviate the sufferings of his people, a Member in the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Nasiru Ahmed Ala disbursed a sum of seven Million naira to wards that made up of his Madara/Chinade Constituency for the period of Ramadan.
Nasiru Ala made the disbursement in an occasion that garnered all his political allies, coordinators, party leaders and supporters in his hometown.
The lawmaker stated that the cash donation was part of his earlier plan to provide succor to his people in this holy month of Ramadan when such is needed the most.
He maintained that in the first phase of the package distribution, four hundred thousand (400,000) naira was allocated to each political ward whereby sixty five (65) persons were chosen to benefit with ten thousand (10,000) naira and five thousand (5,000) naira respectively.
Similarly, five hundred thousand (500,000) naira was also shared to his support group and media activists. He added that another package of food commodities would be distributed to coordinators and other party executives in order to carry all along.
In his remarks, the Chairman of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Katagum, Alh. Kabiru Halilu appreciated the effort Dr. Ala and urged the constituents to consider his kind gestures, works while strengthening their loyalties.
Chairman of PDP in Katagum reiterated that absolute support to the lawmaker and at the same time praying for his unstoppable successes are keys toward fulfilling his campaign promises for democratic dividends to flourish.
In a final note, while speaking on behalf of other beneficiaries, Alh. Manu Bulkachuwa commended and thanked the legislator for his concern to the people. He assured everyone that the distribution of the cash gifts to the entitled persons and groups would be done judiciously
