Renowned philanthropist and retired civil servant, Alhaji Bala Maijama’a Wunti, has once again demonstrated his humanitarian spirit by donating fertilizer to support agricultural activities across Bauchi State.
The gesture, presented on his behalf by his associate Alhaji Usman Yau at the APC State Secretariat weekend, saying is aimed at complementing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s food security agenda while empowering communities at the grassroots.
According to Yau, 100 bags of fertilizer will be distributed to each of the 20 local government chapters of the All Progressive Congress (APC), while 200 bags will go to state-level officials.
He stressed that Wunti’s intervention is not only about strengthening agriculture but also about uplifting communities.
“Bala Wunti has consistently invested in people through scholarships, health centers, and youth empowerment.
“This donation is another reflection of his dedication to improving lives,” Yau said.
APC Chairman in Bauchi, Alhaji Muhammad Hassan Tilde, applauded the initiative, describing it as timely support that will enhance productivity and resilience among rural farmers.
