He described the process as peaceful and transparent.

While thanking  Governor Agbu Kefas, the Chairman of the PDP, Taraba State, Alhaji Abubakar Bawa and all the party’s stakeholders in Ibi for finding him worthy to be nominated as the candidate of the party, he promised not to disappoint the party when elected as the next Chairman of the council.

He also appreciated all delegates and party supporters for standing by him during the primary election.

He called on the people of Ibi to vote for him as the executive chairman of the council in the coming local government polls to build Ibi of the dreams of the founding fathers.

He gave assurance that under his watch, Ibi would experience tremendous peace, massive infrastructural development, provision of scholarship to boost tertiary education, and efficient health care delivery.

The PDP candidate also promised to boost agriculture and commerce in the area, as well as to run an all-inclusive government that would give everyone a sense of identity.
