In a renewed drive for regional progress, the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Yola and the North East Development Commission (NEDC) have pledged to strengthen their collaboration to accelerate socio-economic development in Adamawa State.
During a courtesy visit to the NEDC office, Habiba Sidi, General Manager of NTA Yola, emphasized the vital role of strategic partnerships in promoting impactful development initiatives. She congratulated the newly appointed NEDC Coordinator for Adamawa State, Barr. Khalifa M. Lawan, and expressed NTA’s readiness to support the Commission’s efforts through media engagement.
“We’re here to establish a strong partnership with NEDC to drive meaningful change. By working together, we can amplify developmental efforts and truly uplift our communities,” Sidi noted.
Welcoming the NTA team, Barr. Lawan recognized the media’s influence in informing and empowering the public. He assured the delegation of the Commission’s commitment to collaborate with NTA Yola in raising awareness about its programmes and ensuring transparency in project implementation.
“The media is essential in shaping perceptions and mobilizing community support. NEDC is open to this partnership with NTA Yola as we seek to deepen our impact across Adamawa and beyond,” he said.
The visit signaled a shared vision between the two organizations to use media as a tool for positive change, community engagement, and sustainable development in the North East region.
