The National Security Adviser (NSA) Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, at the Government House, Yola.
The visit was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration between the federal and state governments on matters of security and intelligence sharing.
The NSA was accompanied by top commanders of various security agencies, underscoring the importance of the visit.
Discussions during the meeting reportedly centered on improving the security architecture of the state and fostering a more coordinated response to emerging threats.
Governor Fintiri welcomed the NSA and his delegation, expressing appreciation for the federal government’s support and reaffirming his administration’s commitment to ensuring peace and stability in Adamawa State.
The visit is seen as a strategic move to reinforce inter-agency cooperation and align state-level security priorities with national objectives.
