NEDC Supports Adamawa First Lady’s Humanitarian Outreach with Relief Items

The North East Development Commission (NEDC) has extended its support to the humanitarian initiatives of the Adamawa State First Lady, Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri, by donating key relief materials to the Fresh Air Prolife Empowerment Foundation in Yola.

The items, which include food supplies and essential household essentials, are designed to assist vulnerable women and families across Adamawa State.

Speaking during the presentation in Yola, the Adamawa State Coordinator of the NEDC, Barr. Khalifa M. Lawan, commended Hajiya Lami Fintiri for her continuous efforts toward uplifting disadvantaged groups and promoting community welfare.

He reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to partnering with the state in delivering meaningful interventions that improve lives.

Receiving the items on behalf of Hajiya Lami Fintiri, the Senior Special Assistant to the First Lady, Mr Bitrus Ishaya expressed appreciation to the NEDC for its timely support, noting that the partnership will go a long way in strengthening her Foundation’s outreach programs, particularly in rural communities.

The initiative reflects the ongoing collaboration between the NEDC and the Adamawa State Government to promote humanitarian development and social inclusion across the state.
