NEDC, Adamawa First Lady Strengthen Partnership for State Development

The Adamawa State Coordinator of the North East Development Commission (NEDC), Barr. Khalifa M. Lawan, has paid a courtesy visit to the Wife of the Governor, Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri, at the Government House, Yola, to explore areas of partnership in advancing development initiatives across the state.

The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration in key sectors, including education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, and community development.

Barr. Lawan commended Her Excellency for her dedication to humanitarian causes and her consistent efforts toward improving the welfare of women and children in Adamawa State. He assured her of the Commission’s continued support in complementing the state government’s developmental agenda.

In her response, Hajiya Lami Fintiri appreciated the NEDC for its ongoing interventions in the state and reaffirmed her commitment to working closely with the Commission to deliver more impactful programmes that will benefit women, children, and vulnerable groups.

Both parties reaffirmed their shared commitment to promoting inclusive and sustainable development across Adamawa State.
