The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has called on all State Pilgrims Welfare Boards to submit the manifests of their intending pilgrims to the Commission’s Madina office at least 24 hours before arrival in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Head of NAHCON’s Passport Management Control Committee in Madina, Dr. Aliyu Abdulhameed made the appeal in a statement released by the Commission’s Information Officer, Suwaiba Ahmed.

According to him, the timely submission is crucial for the issuance and activation of the NUSUK card, which has been made mandatory for all pilgrims participating in the 2025 Hajj by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

The NUSUK card contains the personal details of each pilgrim and is required for entry into the holy sites in Makkah, Madina and the Masha’ir areas.

Dr. Abdulhameed noted that the committee has been working diligently since May 5 to ensure all necessary preparations are in place for the arrival of Nigerian pilgrims.
