The National President of the APC Initiative for Good Governance (APC-IGG), Ambassador Musa Muhammed Tsoken, has issued a press release commending the men and officers of the Nigerian Police in Taraba State.

He said the personnel under the Panti-napu police station in Jalingo deserve commendation for their display of bravery and nationalistic zeal.

The officers in question recently successfully intercepted some hoodlums and suspected kidnappers who attempted to bribe Way with a sum of N8.5m.

Ambassador Tsoken has expressed his admiration for the officers’ commendable actions, which serve to dispel the common perception that all security personnel are corrupt or otherwise unscrupulous.

As a devoted advocate of good governance, Tsoken called for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, through the Inspector General of Police, to recognize and reward the officers for their commendable actions.

Such recognition would undoubtedly serve to boost morale among other security personnel, thereby encouraging more of them to follow the commendable example set forth by their colleagues.

The APC -IGG President, Hon. Musa Muhammed Tsoken further enjoined the people of the State to continue praying for the peaceful coexistence and unity of Nigeria, as well as to have faith and believe in Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, noting that in no distance, the current hardship will soon be a thing of a past.
