The Muslim community in the Bali Local Government Area (LGA) of Taraba State has reaffirmed their unwavering support and continues to pray for Governor Agbu Kefas and his administration as he works tirelessly to build a better Taraba.

This assurance was expressed during a visit from the Special Adviser on Islamic Religion Matters to Governor Agbu Kefas, Alhaji Hussaini Isma’il.

In a statement issued to journalists, Malam Isma’il explained that he embarked on a tour to highlight the transformative efforts of Governor Agbu Kefas in Taraba State.

His first visit was to the Bali Local Government Area, where he was warmly received by His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abubakar Mahmoud Kurjibu of Bali.

The occasion took place at the Central Mosque in the LGA and brought together all Imams and Islamic scholars in the area.

During the visit, Malam Isma’il showcased some of the remarkable projects undertaken by Governor Kefas in less than two years.

These include the remodelling of TY Danjuma House in Abuja and Jalingo, the remodelled Taraba State House of Assembly, the new ALGON House, the General Hospital in Ussa, Kefas International Palliative Markets, and a modern abattoir in Jalingo.

Additionally, there have been improvements at the modern trailer park and upgrades to Danbaba Suntai Airport, as well as new buildings at the School of Nursing, Taraba State University, Taraba State Polytechnic, the College of Education in Zing, and the College of Agriculture in Jalingo.

Furthermore, Malam Hussaini Isma’il highlighted Governor Agbu Kefas’s policies on providing free, quality education and a 50% reduction in fees at state-owned higher institutions.

He noted that since taking office, the governor has been approving requests for assistance from Islamic groups, bringing joy to the Muslim community in Taraba State.

The gathering applauded Governor Kefas, explaining that before his inauguration, insecurity was a major concern, with many residents in Bali experiencing kidnappings and violence. However, since he assumed office, these issues have significantly diminished.

Special prayers were offered for the governor, led by the Chief Imam of Bali Central Mosque, Mal Abdulmumini Abdulkhadir, along with the Imams of Jumma’at Mosques of Gazabu, Turbo, Maihula, Tonti, and Malam Bashir Shatima, among others.

They prayed for God Almighty to continue supporting Governor Kefas and ensuring his success.

Malam Isma’il reaffirmed the commitment of his principal, Governor Agbu Kefas, to fostering a prosperous, peaceful, and united Taraba for all.

As they move forward, plans are underway to visit another local government area soon to continue emphasizing the importance of supporting the current administration led by Governor Agbu Kefas.
