The Osun State chapter of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore has implored President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intercede and facilitate the release of their national leader, Dr. Abdullahi Bello Bodejo.
The state chairman of the association, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammed, made the plea during a telephone interview with a reporter.
He urged members of the association to continue praying for the safety of their president, the state, and Nigeria as a whole.
Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammed described Dr. Bello Bodejo as an ambassador of peace, a philanthropist, and a leader par excellence.
It has been reported that Dr. Bodejo was summoned by the Department of State Services (DSS) to clarify some issues.
However, he was apprehended by the State Secret Service DSS who expressed concern that the formation of the Normad’s Vigilante Group in Nasarawa State could cause unrest throughout the country.
According to media reports, Dr. Bodejo was apprehended at his office, which serves as the headquarters of the association and is located at Tudun Maliya Cattle Market, kilometer 22, Abuja-Keffi expressway.
