Alh. Uba Ahmadu, the Minister of State for Regional Development, has reiterated the Federal Government’s commitment in developing and improving the welfare of the people across the Northeastern part of the country.
He stated this in Bauchi on while leading the North-East Development Commission (NEDC) board on a courtesy visit to Gov. Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state.
He explained that the visit was to inspect ongoing projects and commission completed ones executed by the North-East Development Commission (NEDC), involving Health, Education, Infrastructure and commerce in Bauchi state.
According to him, the delegation would spend days inspecting projects in communities across Bauchi state to assess implementation levels, ensure quality delivery and accountability in line with federal objectives nationwide goals.
The Minister commended Gov. Bala Mohammed for his collaboration with federal agencies, investments in education and the visible transformation of public schools across the state in recent years.
Responding, the governor appreciated the Minister for the visit, and reaffirmed the state’s commitment to continue to collaborate with the Federal Government and its agencies to accelerate development and improve citizens’ welfare.
He assured the delegation of the state government’s continued support for NEDC projects, pledging an enabling environment to ensure effective implementation, accountability and maximum benefits for communities across Bauchi State.
