Prominent Adamawa politician and Organizing Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Mustapha Atiku Ribadu, has been conferred with the traditional title of Tittiwaliwa Nunguraya, also known as Tutan Lunguda, by the Lunguda Traditional Council.
The appointment was officially conveyed in a letter dated July 3, 2025, and signed by the Secretary of the Lunguda Traditional Council, Wilberforce G. Dathini.
The council said Ribadu was found worthy of the honor due to his unwavering commitment to the development and progress of the Lunguda Kingdom.
“I am directed to inform you that His Royal Majesty has found you deserving of the traditional title Tittiwaliwa Nunguraya (Tutan Lunguda), in recognition of your notable efforts and dedication to the advancement of the Lunguda Kingdom and beyond,” the letter stated.
The council further requested Ribadu to confirm his acceptance of the title in writing to enable them to finalize preparations for his formal coronation ceremony.
