The Lenzo Cares Foundation, a subsidiary of Lanzo Homes, has significantly bolstered its commitment to education by awarding scholarships to students across all 21 Local Government Areas of Adamawa State in its second annual scholarship ceremony. Speaking at the event.
The Managing Director and CEO of Lenzo Homes, Arc. Philemon Adana’a, emphasized that this year’s theme, “Rewarding Excellence,” is fundamentally aimed at investing in the future of young people and supporting talented students to reach their full potential.
He noted that while brilliance exists in every community, opportunities are often unequal, underscoring the foundation’s resolve to bridge this gap. The students and parents present at the ceremony were visibly moved, expressing their heartfelt joy and gratitude to Arc. Adana’a for his kind gesture.
The ceremony, held at Government House in Yola, also saw the Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, represented by the Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Comrade Umar Garba Pella, Ph.D. The Governor commended Lanzo Homes and the Lanzo Cares Foundation for their “giant steps” and described the scholarship initiative as a “rare act of social responsibility,” reaffirming his administration’s commitment to partnering with any individual or organization dedicated to the development of the state. He further called on all well-meaning Nigerians to emulate the foundation’s efforts in bridging the educational divide.
