Kwandi Nunguraya, His Royal Highness Dr. Kurhaye Dinshon Dansanda, has called on wealthy Christians and individuals to support the building of churches for the collective benefit of the Christian community.

The Royal Father made the appeal on Sunday during the launch of a five-million-naira fundraising campaign for the roofing of the church auditorium and completion of the pastorium of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), LC Jambutu, in Yola North Local Government Area.

Represented at the event by the Chabruwan Nunguraya, Mr. Sule Peter Tenkile, the monarch emphasized that it is the collective responsibility of all Christians to work together in building places of worship, regardless of denomination.

“Supporting the building of churches is the duty of every Christian, whether you are from LCCN, Catholic, or any other denomination. The church belongs to all of us,” the Royal Father stated.

He commended ECWA for its efforts toward completing the church project and pledged his continued support.

Kwandi Nunguraya also congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on his conferment of a Doctorate Degree by the University of Port Harcourt and prayed for God’s guidance upon him.

In his remarks during the launching, the Member representing Gombi/Hong Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. James Shuibu Barka, represented by Mr. Solomon Gadum, encouraged Christians to cultivate the habit of supporting church projects to help achieve their divine goals.

He also urged youths to use social media platforms for meaningful development and advised them to participate in politics for the betterment of society.

Hon. James Barka announced a personal donation of N200,000 toward the completion of the church and pledged continued support.

Earlier, the guest preacher, Pastor James Wakili, took his sermon from the book of 2 Corinthians 9:6–10. He emphasized that giving is a divine revelation and integral to the Christian life.

He explained that God often blesses people from unexpected sources and encouraged Christians to contribute generously toward church-building projects as a way of securing divine blessings.

Pastor Wakili further called on Christians to give sincerely to God, trusting that such gifts will be accepted and rewarded.

During the fundraising, several dignitaries—including the representative of the Kwadi Nunguraya, Mr. Sale Peter Tenkile—made generous donations in support of the church project.
