Honorable Abdulrazaq Gidado Abubakar, a candidate for the Jalingo, Yorro, and Zing Federal Constituency by-election, extends his congratulations to Governor Agbu Kefas on the recent victory of his political party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in the supplementary election held on February 14th, 2024.
In a press statement issued to journalists in Jalingo by his Media Adviser, Sule Sani, Honorable Abubakar characterizes the success of Engr. Sadiq Abbas Tafida is the choice of the masses.
He also acknowledges the contributions of the PDP State Chairman, Elder Nuhu Abeh, the Jalingo local government council chairman, Hon. Aminu Jauro, the local government PDP chairman, and other stakeholders, as well as other opposition parties who supported the PDP’s candidate, including his party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Honorable Abubakar expresses his gratitude to his supporters and pledges to remain committed to ensuring that they benefit from the dividends of democracy by scrutinizing the performance of their representatives as an opposition.
He advised Hon. Sadiq Abbas Tafida not to deviate from the purpose of his election and to be an effective representative by initiating developmental projects for the constituency.
He wishes him success in his new role.
It is worth noting that the ADC candidate, Abubakar, endorsed the candidacy of Tafida and called on his supporters to vote for him during the supplementary election for Jalingo, Yorro, and Zing Federal Constituency.
