Adamawa State Governor, the Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, rejoices with the people of Adamawa State and all Nigerians on the occasion of Democracy Day, June 12th.

“I commend the resilience and determination of Nigerians in upholding democratic values and principles. May I also acknowledge the progress made in the past two decades and pledge my administration’s commitment to deepening democracy and improving the lives of citizens.”

The Governor in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Hunwashi Wonosikou urges all Adamawa residents to embrace peace, unity, and harmony, as the state celebrates this significant milestone.

“As we mark this year’s Democracy Day, I acknowledge the hardships and challenges that many Nigerians still face, and I regret that our democracy has not yet yielded the desired dividends of comfort, security, and prosperity for all citizens.”

He urges residents of the State to sustain the hard-earned peace the administration has built over the last five years, warning that anyone found wanting will face the full wrath of the Law.
