The Taraba State Commissioner of Information and Re-orientation, Zainab Usman Jalingo, extends heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed members of the NUJ, Correspondents’ Chapel in the state, Mrs. Janet Nyajo and Justin Typusuu, as Special Aides.
In a congratulatory message issued to newsmen on Thursday, Jalingo commended Governor Agbu Kefas for acknowledging the essential role of the Correspondents’ Chapel in promoting transparency, accountability, and public awareness.
She said the Governor’s decision to include members of the media in his recent appointments, reinforces his commitment to inclusive governance and recognizes the vital contributions of journalists to the society.
Zainab Jalingo described the appointments as a testament to Governor Kefas’s dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive administration.
“This forward-thinking approach not only strengthens the relationship between the government and the media but also ensures that the perspectives of the press are represented in the decision-making process.
“The Ministry of Information and Re-orientation congratulates the newly appointed members and pledges its continued support to the administration in its mission to meet the aspirations of the people of Taraba State,” the statement concluded.
