The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) has congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State and Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State over their conferment of the Vanguard Governor of the Year Award in their resp.
According to the statement by Dr. Emmanuel Agbo FNMS MFR, Director General PDP-GF, the awards for Outstanding Performance to these recipients is an attestation to their capacities for strong leadership and delivery of democratic dividends to their respective people.
The statement added that: “Their remarkable contributions span various sectors namely: infrastructure, healthcare, education, and economic development, making enormous impact on their communities.
“Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State: has been praised for his efforts in promoting peace and security in Adamawa State. His administration has also focused on education, healthcare, and infrastructure development. Additionally, he has worked to empower women and youth through various programs and initiatives.
“Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State is known for his commitment to economic diversification and job creation. His administration has focused on agriculture, industrialization, and youth empowerment. He has also worked to improve infrastructure, healthcare, and education in Edo State. His efforts have garnered recognition both locally and nationally.
“Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has made significant strides in infrastructure development, particularly in road construction and rehabilitation. His administration has also prioritized education, healthcare, and agricultural development. Under his leadership, Enugu State has seen improvements in various sectors.
“The Forum promotes excellence and accountability in service delivery at all times being our uncontested yardsticks to improving the economy of PDP sub-national and undeniably, Nigeria as a whole.
“We pray for divine protection upon them and their families as they continue to lead the good people of Edo, Adamawa and Enugu States respectively to higher glory. Congratulations to Your Excellencies once again!”
