What a cherished day and moment for parents, siblings, the church, colleagues, and friends, as heavens rejoiced with the union of Media Aide to the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, and Social Media Influencer, Comrade Miracle Musa, as he said ‘Yes I Do’ to his heartthrob, former Miss Joy Gubga.
The colourful ceremony took place on Saturday at Deeper Christian Life Bible Church Headquarters in Yola, the Adamawa State capital. The joining in Holy Matrimony of Miracle and Joy was a long-awaited dream and moment for both the couple and well-wishers, gathering personalities from across the state to witness the history-making event.
As the lovebirds held hands, looking straight into each other’s eyes, it was clear that their love was a dream come true. The matrimony of Miracle and Joy marked a new season and history for Deeper Life Church in Adamawa State, as they were joined by four other couples for a similar sacred service – an epoch ceremony the church had ever witnessed.
Deeper Life State Overseer, Pastor Professor Joseph Zambwa, emphasized that any marriage built on the wrong foundation is bound to collapse. He advised the newlywed couple to leverage the foundation that bound their relationship from the beginning of their courtship to sustain their new home. Quoting Genesis 2:18 and Matthew 19:5, Pastor Zambwa stressed that marriage is mandatory, except for those called by God for a specific assignment.
Pastor Zambwa added that marriage is meant for two mature individuals, as stated in Matthew 19:15, urging the couples to exemplify virtues for a lasting relationship and marriage. He warned them to beware of greed, oppression, and deception, which often lead to failed marriages.
Pastor Phillip Adelami led the couple in scriptural vows and pronouncements, praying for them to ponder their vows and seek God in their marriage and daily lives. The grand reception was held at the Banquet Hall of the Government House in Yola, attended by dignitaries, including the Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, and other prominent figures.
December 14, 2024, marked the beginning of a new chapter in the life of Mr. and Mrs. Miracle Musa, as they signed into a covenant of marriage, vowing to cherish and hold each other with God’s love until death separates them.
