Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State, on Thursday, joined hundreds of mourners at the Jimeta Central Mosque for the funeral prayer of the late Executive Chairman of Fufore Local Government Area, Hon. Shuaibu Babas, who passed away on Wednesday after an illness.
The governor described the death of Hon. Babas as a painful loss not only to Fufore Local Government Area but to the entire Adamawa State.
He praised the late Chairman for his unwavering commitment to public service, grassroots development, and loyalty to the state government’s agenda.
The Governor extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, the people of Fufore, and the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) in the state.
Governor Fintiri prayed for Allah to grant Hon. Shuaibu Babas eternal rest and give his family, colleagues, and the people of Fufore the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
