Gov Fintiri Reiterates Commitment to Inclusive Governance

Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and the building of a prosperous Adamawa State for present and future generations.

Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and the building of a prosperous Adamawa State for present and future generations.

The Governor made this statement when he received members of Youth and Women Wings of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), who organised a ten-thousand solidarity match to the Government House in Yola, Thursday.

Governor Umaru Fintiri told the mammoth delegation that, “We are committed to building a better and more prosperous Adamawa for the benefit of all, so that even the yet unborn will be proud of our efforts in this state.”

He emphasized the government’s resolve to deliver the dividends of democracy to every citizen, regardless of tribe or religion. “We will redouble our efforts in ensuring inclusive development across all sectors of the state,” he assured.

Governor Fintiri called on the women and youth wings of CAN to continue supporting his administration with prayers, noting that “leaders need the prayers and goodwill of the people to succeed.”

He further reiterated his dedication to investing in quality education and delivering impactful policies. “I have come to serve the entirety of Adamawa State, and I remain focused on that mission,” the governor said.

In their separate remarks, leaders of the two groups, Reverend Doctor Gabriel Shall and Mrs Helen James said the solidarity match was organized to celebrate the impactful and inclusive leadership style of Governor Umaru Fintiri. 

They highlighted the achievements of the governor in the areas of security, infrastructure, as well as youth and women empowerment, pledging to continue to rally his administration for the development of Adamawa state.
