Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State was among notable personalities who graced the wedding between Abigail David Malgwi and Da’adhn Suleiman Bogoro urging them to love, cherish and respect one another and live in accordance with their faiths teachings.
The traditional wedding reception in honour of Abigail David Malgwi and Da’adhn a son to the Executive Secretary Tertiary Education Trust Fund Professor Suleiman Bogoro took place at the banquet hall government house Yola.
The Governor enjoined the couple to harken to the numerous advice from people who have had a successful Union and always look up to God for direction.
While wishing them a blissful marriage Governor AUF urged the couple to also build on the good name of their parents.
Earlier, Chairman of the occasion Doctor Nuhu Maksha reminded the couple that a good name is better than riches charging the bride to live to be the wise woman of the bible and the groom to live joyfully with the wife of his youth appealing to the guests to pray for the successful Union of the couple.
Prominent among the dignitaries are the former Governor of Bauchi State who was a one time National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Alhaji Adamu Muazu,Vice Chancellors of Adamawa State University, Mubi,Taraba State University, and University of Maiduguri,
Highlights of the occasion was the cutting of cake and feeding of parents by the bride and groom and dance.
