Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has expressed heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Bauchi State following the passing of esteemed Islamic scholar, Dr. Idris Abdulaziz Dutsen Tanshi.
The revered cleric died in the early hours of Friday last week at the age of 68.
Representing the Governor, the Principal Special Assistant on Islamic Affairs, Sheikh Ali Mamman, praised Dr. Dutsen Tanshi’s lifelong dedication to Islamic scholarship and his immense contribution to educating millions of Muslim youths across the country.
Governor Fintiri extended his sympathy to the bereaved family and the wider Islamic community in Bauchi, praying for God’s mercy on the departed soul and for him to be granted Aljannatul Firdausi.
