Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Alhaji Ahmad Nyada, a former chairman of Mubi South Local Government Area, who passed away at the age of 75 after a brief illness at Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital (MAUTH) in Yola.
During a condolence visit to the family residence in Patogi, Mubi South, Governor Fintiri described the late Alhaji Nyada as a loyal and dependable figure who dedicated his life to the service of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and his community.
The Governor offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul and encouraged the family to emulate his legacy, noting that Alhaji Nyada was widely regarded as a man of the people.
Fintiri lamented the loss, emphasizing that it came at a time when Nyada’s wisdom and guidance were most needed. He urged the bereaved family to remain united, support one another, and draw strength from their togetherness to overcome future challenges.
Alhaji Ahmad Nyada is survived by two wives, nine children, ten grandchildren, siblings, and extended family members.
