Gov Fintiri Mourns Baba Elson Awano, Sani Mai Zare

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has condoled the family of late Baba Elson Mbula Awano, who died on 8th April, 2024 at the age of 80.

Baba Awano, a renowned political figure in the state served in different capacities both in the community, government and political sphere.

He died after brief illness at Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital (MAUTH) Yola and left behind his wife and 4 children.

In a related development, the Governor also condoled the family of late Alhaji Sani Mai Zare Michika, who died at at the age of 64 at Beldom hospital on Wednesday 17th April 2024.

Alhaji Mai Zare Michika, a renowned business man died and left behind a wife, 16 children, 40 grand children, many great grand children and relations. Prominent among his children is Alhaji Awal Sani, Maji Kiran Adamawa.

While at both compound of the deceased persons at Karewa and Demsawo in Jimeta Yola representatively, Governor Fintiri expressed sadness saying that the duo will be greatly missed.

Having worked and shared moments together, he noted that the passing of the two Adamawa sons is a great loss not only to their immediate families both the entire state.

He urged the families to take solace in God and emulate the lifestyle of their parents who left behind good legacies and exemplary life.
