In line with his commitment to ensuring that projects awarded by his administration meet both timelines and specifications, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Thursday inspected the ongoing construction of the Half Cloverleaf Interchange at Yola-Numan Road.
The strategic project, which links the Numan Road and the Superhighway, is expected to enhance not only the municipal aesthetics of Yola but also provide necessary convenience to commuters using the route.
Governor Fintiri, who inspected the new Superhighway project from the A.A. Lawan Flyover in Yola to the Malkohi 1000 Housing Estate and on to the Half Cloverleaf Interchange, expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of the work.
He noted that the project is part of his broader urban expansion plan for the state capital, which continues to attract new residents and investment interest across its growing metropoles.
The Governor, accompanied by top government officials, was conducted around the project site by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Works and Energy, Engineer Suleiman Mohammed.
