Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State, on Monday, inaugurated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Convention Protocol Sub-Committee, with a charge to its members to ensure the success of the forthcoming national convention scheduled for November 2025.
Governor Fintiri, who also serves as Chairman of the PDP National Convention Committee, reaffirmed his loyalty and commitment to the ideals of the party, describing the PDP as one with enduring legacies, deep-rooted democratic principles, and a promising future.
While inaugurating the Protocol Sub-Committee chaired by the Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang, Fintiri commended members for accepting the national assignment and urged them to approach their responsibilities with professionalism, unity, and dedication.
He disclosed plans to arrive in Ibadan weeks ahead of the convention to personally supervise ongoing preparations and ensure that all logistics and arrangements are in place for a smooth and successful event.
Governor Fintiri further assured all aspirants vying for various positions of a transparent, credible, and well-coordinated convention process, reiterating his administration’s unwavering belief in internal democracy and fairness within the PDP.
