Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has been conferred with an honorary Doctorate Degree in Public Administration award by the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to governance, public service, and national development.
The conferment ceremony took place on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the university campus, and was attended by dignitaries from across the country.
Governor Fintiri, widely acclaimed for his strides in education, infrastructure, and youth empowerment in Adamawa State, expressed gratitude to the university for the honour, stating that it reinforces his commitment to service and excellence.
“This recognition is not just for me, but for the people of Adamawa State. It is a testament to what purposeful leadership can achieve,” he said.
