The Director General Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency (PAWECA) in Adamawa State, Hon Michael Zira says Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is committed to youth and women empowerment.
He stated this when he led management of PAWECA to the Ministry of Entrepreneurship Development which supervises the agency he is heading, on a familiarization visit.
The DG while thanking Governor Fintiri for appointing him to head the agency, solicits the support of the ministry to enable him discharge his duties effectively.
He reiterated his determination to ensuring the empowerment programmes initiated by the Governor Fintiri administration are executed in the state with fairness.
In his remarks, the State Commissioner of Entrepreneurship Development, Alhaji Hammanjumba Gatugel described the visit by the D.G as timely and assured him support.
He urged Mr Zira to ensure he leaves no stone unturned towards bringing to bear his wealth of experience to his new office aimed to addressing poverty and creating wealth in the state.
